It is the most visited theological school by the tourists in Fez.
Built in the 14th century by the sultan Abou Al Hassan of the Merinid dynasty, it stands out with its minaret, its enameled earthenware mosaics and its dazzling carved cedar wood ceiling.
Opposite the medersa, you can see the clock of Boui Inania, dating back to 1357. The medersa is open daily from 8.30am to 12am - 11am on Fridays - and from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
